Miracles do happen! I feel myself like a child that doesn’t know how to react as his/her Big Dream came true… Though under ‘Big Dream’ I mean the Dream of the whole country, not only one individual.
Russia has won over Orange Beasts – The Netherlands – sending 2 balls in their gates in the additional period of time and finishing the match scoring 3 to 1!!! The Dutch team is going home!
Guess at some point you get used to winning and get relaxed, feeling confident in gaining victory anyway… And at some point you get so f… overwhelmed of not making it to finals and loosing the chance that you start the revolution on the field, in the team, in your heart and mind… and that’s where the Change starts…
The year is truly unique for the history of Russia… Now winning over the Dutch Devils definitely proves it!
Especially I found it fun watching at Guss Hiddink’s reaction :) Dutch Coach managing Russian team and winning over the Dutch team in semi-finals… Hohoho! Guess he will be reading out loud Mohamed Ali’s poem ‘I am the Gratest’ and he will be right to do so! This man Rocks! He deserves to have that title!
P.S. Would like to know his secret of leadership and used methods to put the chaotic attitude of the Russian team in place and build the REAL team out of them!
